I’d read that interview with Alain Johannes some time ago, he speaks a bit about the new Brody Dalle’s album, and for my surprise will not have the Spinnerette’s name, check out:

“I: Any discussion of Spinnerette coming back to life in the future?

AJ: Oh definitely, but not the next record. I’m working with Brody whenever it’s time – she just had a beautiful baby boy – for her solo record. I think that’s just going to be pretty much a solo record.

I: So it won’t have the Spinnerette name…

AJ: Not this time. And that’s coming out great too. It’s really a matter of, ‘I’ve got a couple of hours… Oh, I have to mix this thing,’ then whoever calls with a ‘Where’s my… so and so?’”
